The MSc in Conservative Dentistry is an intensive clinical, academic and research programme across the disciplines of fixed prosthodontics, implant dentistry, operative dentistry and endodontics. It is offered as a one-year, full-time course (or two-year, part time programme for specialist registrars (StRs)).
Students will gain theoretical and practical experience in the conservative restoration of cases ranging from a single missing tooth to full mouth rehabilitation, utilising either tooth or implant-supported restorations.
Graduates can confidently manage the treatment needs of patients in a holistic and comprehensive manner. Graduates have the ability to critically think and appraise literature, be capable of problem solving and develop an attitude of life-long learning.
Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits. All modules are compulsory
The programme consists of five core modules (120 credits) and a dissertation module (60 credits).
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MSc in Conservative Dentistry.
