The final purpose of this Specialty in Competency-Based Curriculum Development is to strengthen the implementation of competency-based teaching-learning processes in the teaching activity of trainers of trainers of educational sciences careers in the Dominican Republic. It is intended to promote, in the first place, lasting changes in their teaching practice based on the experimentation of innovative didactic and evaluation strategies that are congruent with the competency - based teaching-learning model. Second, it is intended that the participating teaching staff act as an agent for dissemination, awareness and training of the teaching staff of their universities in the implementation of the competency-based model. It is about promoting qualitative changes in teacher training based on the reflection of trainers of trainers on their own work and on the needs of the education system, on pedagogical innovation and on the most current knowledge and research on teacher training based on competencies.

Admission Requirements

Documents for admission national degree:

  • Original grade record indicating academic index, certified by MESCyT.
  • Copy of the university degree, with the original MESCyT certification.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation signed by professors and / or people who can give information about their professional experience.
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Three (3) recent photos: two 2 × 2 size and one 1 × 1 size.
  • Legalized birth certificate.
  • Medical certificate.
  • In case of being a foreigner, work visa.
  • Copy of identity card, or passport if you are a foreigner.
  • Payment receipt for the admission fee.
