In this Specialty in Teaching Qualification in Chemistry the study of Chemistry is conceived seeking to fulfill three fundamental functions ( Bugaev, 1989): instructive, developer and educational. The instructive function is decisive since it is intended that the teacher-students obtain knowledge of the fundamentals of chemistry (of the most important laws of nature), and that they acquire the skills and habits to use the knowledge in practice. With the developer function we seek the development of the cognitive possibilities of teachers - students, forming in them the ability to independently complete their knowledge, and orient themselves in the impetuous flow of scientific information that we find today, its gradual conduction at levels more complex generalization, the mastery of various logical operations and the transition from logical-formal forms of thought to more creative and dialectical ones.
