BA Film Studies and French aims to develop students’ understanding and awareness of the rich possibilities of this creative medium and encourages them to approach the study of film from a range of historical and theoretical perspectives. Students will also develop a comprehensive grounding in French language, literature, culture, history and linguistics, enabling students to become proficient enough in French to live and work effectively in a French-speaking environment. Students will learn through lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical group projects.
