The BSc Biochemistry with a Modern Language course will enable students to develop their language skills while studying a subject that forms the basis of virtually all of the biological sciences. Students will learn about topics such as the structure of biomolecules, and how they interact in essential processes and pathways in the cells. Students will also study the actions of enzymes, and how they can be inhibited by drugs, as well as genetic engineering and molecular biology. Placements are available at 25 universities throughout Europe and in China and Japan.
