This four-year Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course will give students the knowledge and practical skills needed to enter the pharmacy profession. This course integrates science and practice throughout the course, giving students the unique opportunity to learn from community and hospital pharmacists in each year of their studies. Students will become familiar with the professional aspects of pharmacy, as well as learn how to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals and develop the skills needed to adapt to any changes that may occur during their career. This MPharm degree is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Upon successful completion of the course, students will need to undertake a year of pre-registration training, take the GPhC's registration exam and meet fitness to practise requirements before becoming a fully-fledged pharmacist.
