This course is aimed at qualified doctors working within vascular or endovascular surgery who wish to gain a postgraduate qualification. Students will develop their understanding of the concepts and principles underpinning the care of patients undergoing vascular or endovascular surgery, as well as their ability to find, critically evaluate and apply relevant research evidence to ensure it is clinically effective. Admission Requirements

Admissions criteria - part-time route

  • medical degree (MBBS and MRCS or equivalent postgraduate degree). For radiology trainees who are pursuing a career in interventional radiology, you must have demonstrated successful completion of core training in radiology
  • working within vascular or endovascular surgery above F2/SHO/ST2 or equivalent and with an interest in vascular and endovascular surgery or interventional radiology
  • GMC registration
  • international/overseas applicants must apply through the medical training initiative and have IELTS 7 or above
  • admission is dependent on successful interview.

Admissions criteria - full-time route

  • medical degree (MBBS and MRCS or equivalent postgraduate degrees such as MS or DNB)
  • recent work experience within vascular and endovascular speciality or interventional radiology
  • international/overseas applicants must have IELTS 6.5 or above
  • admission is dependent on successful interview.

All offers for the full-time route are also subject to

  • a successful health workplace risk assessment
  • a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
