The department aims to stand as a national physical therapy center of cutting-edge research and outstanding academic programs through diverse cooperation and international communication. Missions of the Department are to nurture students to become physical therapists with professional judgment, humanistic concerns, and being able to absorb and put into use modern knowledge; to provide a sound environment of education, research and development for the faculty; and to enhance the development of physical therapy disciplines with our achievements in teaching and research. Applicants are required to provide an autobiography either in Chinese or in English. The English proficiency certificate is not required for applicants whose previous degree is from an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa or the United States of America), but the applicants have to provide their diplomas as proof. All new students are REQUIRED to have a health check-up for university enrollment.
