The pharmacy curriculum starts from basic medical and pharmaceutical science, to develop the professional skill in health care and pharmaceutical technology, along with cultivating professional attitude of caring and wisdom. After completing the program, students would be capable to engage in clinical pharmacy services or pharmaceutical industry. In our aging society, patients with chronic disease and those who need long-term health care are increasing. Meanwhile, new drugs are launched faster than previous decades. Both increase the complexity of medication and the need of drug information and counseling. In recent years, bio-pharmaceutical industry has been one of the new rising industries in Taiwan, which will continue to grow around the world as well. The goal of this program includes: to enable students to become competent pharmacists with pharmaceutical care expertise, to promote the medication safety and benefit, as well as to foster the experts for drug research and development.

Applicants are required to be interviewed (if demanded), and will be notified by the department; the interview date will be held around every April/May (for Fall Semester application). Applicants should have Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing and are required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate (intermediate level or above of TOCFL or New HSK). Applicants are also required to provide a self-hand-written autobiography in Chinese. Applicants are required to provide certificates of high school grades and academic performances within recent three years. All new students are REQUIRED to have a health check-up for university enrollment.
