The department is dedicated to providing quality graduate education and performing cutting edge research in environmental and occupational health science, which addresses important human health problems concerning the natural and built environment and diverse occupations. Our faculty actively collaborate with investigators in other disciplines and interact closely with governments and industries. We strive to contribute profound scientific research and to react to illness arising from environmental exposure and toxicants. With a greater scientific understanding of the human health risks posed by risk components, we can ultimately provide valuable inferences for preventive medicine and clinical management.
