The B.A. program aims to equip students with analytical skills for
thinking about the economy. Our mission is to provide high quality economics
training with global vision and a rigorous toolkit. The undergraduate program
in Economics is designed to help students to develop creative thinking,
leadership and communication skills that prepare them for employment in the
private and public sectors as well as for graduate level studies, to acquaint
students with skills to analyze public policy issues and react to societal
needs, to promote a multi-disciplinary mindset and broaden the vision and
learning profiles of students. We utilize local resources and university
facilities to serve the community through outreach services, and strengthen

Applicants should have basic Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Applicants are also required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate. Applicants are also required to provide Chinese autobiography. The English proficiency certificate is not required for applicants whose previous degree is from an English-speaking country (Australia,Canada,United Kingdom, Ireland,New Zealand,South Africa or the United States of America),but the applicant has to provide the diploma as proof. All new students are REQUIRED to have a health check-up for university enrollment.
