Objectives: 1) Achieving quality and excellence in performance, so that graduates of the department are able to practice their profession with a high level of professionalism.
2) Meeting the requirements of the labor market and supporting it with competencies capable of understanding their role in addressing local community issues and spreading a culture of developmental media that aims to promote intellectual and awareness advancement, while taking into account the ethical and religious aspects related to the values of Muslim society.
3) Ensuring academic and research freedom committed to the values, ethics and traditions of Islamic society, and contributing to the revitalization of scientific research related to the priorities and development of society through bachelor's degree graduation projects and the preparation of master's theses.
4) Establishing communication between the department, society and media institutions by holding seminars, lectures and discussion panels on media issues.
5) Establishing constructive and effective channels of communication with corresponding higher education institutions, both internally and externally, in order to keep pace with developments in the field of the new communications and information technology revolution.
