The College of Law and Political Science comprises two departments: Law and Political Science. Instruction in both departments is delivered in Arabic, while English is also incorporated throughout the four academic years. Student admission is governed by the Central Admission system of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the College adheres to the regulations and instructions issued by the Ministry.
The College applies the annual (year-based) system for all academic stages. The four-year program integrates theoretical and practical study. A training course is offered to fourth-year morning-study students, through which students receive practical lessons and simulations of real court work in civil and criminal cases, delivered by experienced judges.
As of the beginning of the academic year 2009–2010, the College began implementing the objectives stipulated by law. The College is currently subject to Central Admission procedures overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
