KNU named after J.Balasagyn   is implementing the following objectives in the field of teaching and education of students in the direction of  Master’s degree program 690100- “Engineering Electrical and Electronic”:

Preparation of qualified specialists capable of conducting theoretical and experimental research, mathematical and computer modeling, design, construction, production technology, usage, operation, and maintenance of materials, components, electronic devices, and equipment in electronics and nano-electronics with various functional purposes. These specialists will possess universal competencies that support their social mobility and resilience in the job market. Additionally, the program focuses on developing social and personal qualities, including responsibility, civic engagement, a sense of duty, communication skills, tolerance, and cultural awareness for sustainable development.

The professional fields for graduates include education, mathematical and computer modeling, and design.

Master’s student in the “Electronics and Nano-electronics” program 690100 studies the following subjects within the professional cycle:

Object of professional activity for graduates include the educational process, as well as scientific, applied, production and pedagogical activities.

Types of professional activities for graduates are design-engineering, project-technology and research activities.

In the Field of Design-Engineering Activities:

•Analyzing the status of scientific and technical problems by selecting, studying, and analyzing literary and patent sources;

•Defining objectives and setting design tasks for electronic devices, circuits, and systems with various functional purposes, and preparing technical specifications for project tasks;

•Designing electronic devices, instruments, and systems according to specified requirements.

In the Field of Project-Technology Activities:

•Developing technical specifications for the design of technological processes for the production of electronic materials and products;

•Designing technological processes for the production of electronic materials and products using automated production preparation systems.

In the Field of Research Activities:

•Developing work plans and programs for conducting scientific research and technical development, and preparing specific tasks for team members;

•Collecting, processing, analyzing, and systematizing scientific and technical information on the research topic, selecting methods and tools for problem-solving;

•Developing methodologies, conducting research and measuring parameters and characteristics of electronic products, and analyzing results;

•Using physical effects to develop new research methods and create prototypes of measurement systems.

The standard duration for obtaining higher professional education in the master’s program “Electronics and Nano-electronics” 690100 is 2 years for full-time study and 2 years and 6 months for part-time study.
