KNU named after J. Balasagyn realizes the following objectives in the field of education and education of personality on the direction of training of master’s degree 581000 “Marketing”

preparing qualified specialists, fostering personal qualities, and forming general cultural (universal) and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the state educational standard for higher professional education in this field. Additionally, it emphasizes the development of students' social and personal qualities: goal orientation, organizational skills, diligence, responsibility, civic engagement, communication skills, tolerance, and the enhancement of overall culture.

A student pursuing a master's degree in Marketing can choose their specialization:

●        International Marketing

The areas of professional activity for graduates include education, the non-profit sector, and business.

A master's student in the 581000 "Marketing" program studies the following professional disciplines:

●        Strategic Management

●        International Logistics

●        International Marketing

●        Marketing Analysis and Audit

●        Marketing Research

●        Project Management

The objects of professional activity for graduates include the educational process, services, enterprises, and organizations.

The types of professional activities for graduates include information-analytical, organizational-management, marketing audit, and information-communication activities.

A master's student in the 581000 "Marketing" program must address the following tasks:

1.       In the area of information-analytical activity:

-Study and evaluate market conditions at the meso, macro, and global economic levels to support management decisions.

-Determine the volume of production, export, and import in accordance with market conditions.

-Analyze the competitive environment, consumers, suppliers, intermediaries, and develop marketing policies for the effective operation of economic entities.

2.       In the area of organizational-management activity:

-Develop justifications for choosing technologies, determining production volume and assortment based on marketing analysis.

-Manage competitiveness, product (service) assortment, pricing, and quality, as well as for industries, countries, and regions.

-Organize effective service that meets international standards and manage the distribution system for goods (services) in domestic and international markets.

3.       In marketing audit activity:

-Develop scientific justification and methodology for marketing audit.

-Manage marketing research and develop a marketing audit plan.

-Conduct marketing research for projects involving government, international organizations, and commercial and non-commercial entities.

-Develop marketing strategies for the growth of economic entities.

4.       In the area of information-communication activity:

-Implement innovative technologies, communication tools, and information systems in professional activities.

-Manage companies' activities in commercial promotion, public relations, and advertising business.

The normative duration for obtaining higher professional education in the master’s program in 581000 "Marketing" is 2 years for full-time study and 2 years and 6 months for part-time study.
