KNU named after J.Balasagyn   is implementing the following objectives in the field of teaching and education of students in the direction  of  bachelor 510400 «Physics»

Preparation of qualified bachelor’s graduates with foundational professional knowledge of all types of physical phenomena, processes, and structures observed in nature, capable of applying this knowledge in applied, production, and educational activities. Graduates will possess universal competencies that enhance their social mobility and functional stability in the job market. Additionally, the program aims to foster students’ social and personal qualities, including determination, organization, diligence, responsibility, citizenship, communication skills, tolerance, and overall cultural awareness.

Bachelor degree in the field of study 510400 «Physics» includes the following professional cycle disciplines:

-Mechanics

-Electricity and magnetism

-Optics

-Atomic and nuclear physics

-Theoretical mechanics

-Physical kinetics

-A strophysics

-General relativity theory

-Theory and methods of teaching physics

-E lectrodynamics

-Q uantum mechanics

 

The objects of professional activity for graduates include physical systems of various scales and levels of organization, processes of their functioning, physical, engineering-physical, physical-technical, medical-physical,and environmental protection technologies, physical expertise and monitoring, as well as secondary, primary, vocational, and higher educational institutions.

Types of professional activity for graduates encompass research, scientific innovation, organizational and managerial work, as well as educational and outreach activities.

 

The types of professional activities for graduates include research activities, scientific innovation, organizational and managerial activities, as well as pedagogical and educational outreach activities.

Bachelor in the direction of  training  510400 «Physics » should solve following professional tasks:

1.In the field of research activities: mastering methods of scientific research; understanding theories and models; participating in physical research on designated topics; processing the obtained research results at the required level; working with scientific literature using new information technologies; publishing the obtained scientific results in university collections and conference proceedings.

2.In the field of scientific innovation: mastering methods of applying research results in innovative activities; understanding methods of engineering and technological activities; participating in processing and analyzing obtained data using modern information technologies.

3.In the field of organizational and managerial activities: familiarization with the basics of organizing and planning physical research; participating in the informational and technical organization of scientific seminars and conferences; participating in the writing and formatting of scientific articles and reports.

4.In the field of pedagogical and educational outreach activities: preparing and conducting classes in general secondary education institutions, vocational schools, and higher education institutions, and undergoing pedagogical practice there; conducting excursions, educational outreach, and extracurricular activities.

The duration of  full-time  510400 «Physics» Bachelor's degree program  is 4 years, part-time 5 years.
