Training aims

Algeria is located in a region that is occasionally confronted with the scarcity and irregularity of water resources. In addition, the stakes related to these resources, under the double quantitative and qualitative aspect, do not stop growing in importance at the national level under the combined pressure of the demographic growth (urban development) and the increase in the water needs of the agriculture (which alone absorbs nearly 70% of water withdrawals). Consequently, the sustainable development of agricultural activities and other industrial and urban sectors of our country are under the direct threat of an irregularity in the supply of this strategic resource. The degree in Hydraulics is a diploma that provides basic training allowing access to more advanced studies in the field of hydraulics. Nevertheless, the knowledge acquired at the end of the course will allow the graduate to engage in professional life. The training will insist on the acquisition of knowledge to master the problems related to the protection of water resources and the environment.

Valuation method

Entry into training is more particularly aimed at students who have validated the first year of the Science and Technology Domain. The acquisition of knowledge is assessed by regular continuous monitoring and practical tests as well as a final exam. There will be one exam session per semester followed by a remedial session for each semester.
