The training in the master’s degree in political science specializing in local administration aims at training specialized in one of the branches of political science represented in the management of local communities. This is in the areas of managing local groups and their organizational and financial applications.

The study is organized in the master’s stage in the form of four (04) semesters. In each semester, the student receives training for a set of materials organized within the framework of educational units (basic, exploratory, methodological and horizontal). Each hexagon has 30 credits. The fourth semester is devoted to the completion of a memorandum evaluated by a committee of professors through public discussion.

The evaluation system is a hybrid between continuous evaluation and evaluation through written examinations. The transition is made from one year to the next when the semesters are acquired.

Holders of a master’s degree in political science, specializing in local administration, can be employed in all areas of managing local groups as advisors in municipal and state people’s councils, states’ and departments’ management, or work within civil society institutions. Holders of this certificate can also work in the media and journalistic fields.
