laboratory (Laboratory for Research in Computer Science and its
Applications) offers doctoral training in two specialties, artificial
intelligence and computer network security. LaRIA counts about twenty
doctoral students structured on 4 research teams. Beyond training new
doctors on modern techniques of scientific research and artificial
intelligence in the field of mobile computing, the main objective of
doctoral training is to study and explore issues related to security. Smart
communications in smart cities by applying artificial intelligence
techniques. Also, this offer aims to design and implement software solutions
for the valuation of results that contribute to the security of computer
systems in Algerian cities in the future. In addition, the doctoral training
takes place in three years of research which can be extended by two years.
During these years of research and in addition to the courses to be given in
connection with the aspects mentioned above, doctoral training will address,
through the various theses, current issues, in particular: Doctoral students
are expected to produce quality scientific articles and the publication of
these articles in international conferences as well as in renowned journals
or registering patents in order to communicate and protect the results
obtained. Among other things, the goal is to promote scientific research in
the analysis, security, communication and learning of massive data, from
connected objects, among other things. Once supported, the new doctors will
all have the scientific background that allows them to apply for teacher-
researcher positions at the university, claim for researcher positions in
the various research centers or as research engineers in the teams. Research
and development (R&D) of industrial companies, all over the world. Like,
they can apply for post-doctoral researcher positions in the various
research laboratories. Similarly, and based on the solid expertise acquired
during their doctoral training, new doctors can launch their own project in
the form of a start-up in order to concretize the assistance and the results
developed during the preparation of their theses.
