Training aims:

This training allows students to acquire knowledge in two areas whose demand continues to increase: information systems and decision-making. On the axis of information systems, this training will broaden the spectrum of knowledge to the holder to include new representations of information within advanced databases (objects, multimedia...) the deepening of development methods information systems. On the decision-making axis (decision-making information systems), the knowledge acquired will allow the incumbent to model decision-making problems, including decision theory and multi-criteria decision-making, and to analyze data for decision-making purposes., to master the multidimensional modeling of decision-making data which dominates in data warehouses, to extract knowledge from data, in particular by data mining techniques (data mining) and to restore data (reporting)

Student assessment:

The evaluation of the student will be done in two ways:

- Final exam which will take place at the end of each semester

- Continuous control of knowledge (written questions, practical work, presentations, participation, individual work).

Opportunities:

This Master is a training through research that offers professional and academic opportunities. At the end of this training, two careers are possible:

• Integrate the world of research in the field of information systems and in particular decision-making systems.

• Put into practice the knowledge acquired for the benefit of the labor market. Indeed, in the era where material technologies are becoming available to everyone, competitiveness is measured by the added value of services, and by making the right decisions at the right time. As such, the master's holder can contribute by:

o The analysis and development of information systems through a quality approach and using proven techniques.

o Develop BI solutions (modeling, implementation and operation).

The student holding this master fits naturally into:

• Functional business services (decision support, IT, organization);

• Consulting companies or design offices;

• Research centers and laboratories;
