Training aims

The training for an academic license in radiation physics is a course of studies of two semesters of fifteen weeks each. It is a complementary training to the training completed by the student during the four semesters of the first two years of study.

This training familiarizes the student with the notions of nuclear physics, nuclear instrumentation, matter-radiation interaction and other subjects related to the training.

The objective of this training is the acquisition of the necessary and essential knowledge which allows the preparation of a master's degree in radiation physics, nuclear physics, medical physics. It also allows access to the academic master's degree in physics specialties. In addition, this training allows access to the academic and professional master's degree in engineering sciences .

Areas of activity targeted

At the end of their training, holders of a license in radiation physics can take the teaching competitions at the CEM. They also have the option of continuing their studies for a master's degree

Gateways and Continuation of Studies

- Masters in Physics

- Academic and professional degrees in engineering sciences

- Academic and professional masters in engineering sciences

- Licenses and Masters in Geophysics
