Training aims

Students holding a Master's degree in Ways and Works of Art will be able to understand the challenges of construction in the fields of roads, airports, railways, bridges, tunnels, dams and underground works as well as special works under their main technical and economic aspects. They will know how to present, defend, then coordinate and implement appropriate solutions. They will be able to adapt to the rapid evolution of the technical context, marked in particular by an increasing consideration of environmental issues and the regulatory context. The content of the teaching modules is designed with the constant concern to support these achievements with examples drawn from practical cases.

Valuation method

This training is intended for students who have already graduated in one of the following specialties: public works (any option) or civil engineering (after study of the file), and any other specialty is justified by an equivalent course in terms of educational content and this after approval of the scientific committee of the department. The acquisition of knowledge is assessed by regular continuous monitoring and practical tests as well as a final exam. There will be one exam session per semester followed by a remedial session for each semester. The course is sanctioned by a master's thesis of initiation to research.
