In recent years, the world has witnessed a tremendous development, which included various aspects of life, cultural, political and economic in particular, the so-called international trade.
Accordingly, training in the field of international trade allows the student to get acquainted with the field of international trade and the various processes and organizations related to the subject, especially the World Trade Organization and the International Monetary Fund, where the student acquires the keys to realizing and understanding the challenges of environmental variables and how to cope and control them.
The student also studies the foundations and principles of drawing and developing international marketing policies.
Thus, this training allows the preparation of specialized frameworks capable of assuming responsibilities in institutions wishing to expand their activities to include international markets.

Target qualifications and competencies

Training in this specialization is directed to students who are in the bachelor's degree within the field of commercial sciences, as in order to obtain an academic bachelor's degree specializing in "international trade", it is necessary to succeed in six academic semesters consisting of lectures and directed works in the various standards that are taught in this specialization, which It consists of basic study units, exploratory and methodological units, and the sixth semester, in which students prepare graduation notes on one of the topics of international trade under the supervision of a specialized professor.

Regional and national capacities for employability

Training in this specialization allows the preparation of executives in international trade, who can work as agents at Algerian customs, ports, or representatives of international companies operating in Algeria, in addition to the possibility of working in private offices in consulting for the benefit of public and private institutions, local or foreign.
Perhaps the new orientation of the Algerian state towards modernizing administration and improving the quality of public service provided to citizens makes training in this specialization an opportunity for students who successfully pursue training in it to obtain a job position that is compatible with the gains they obtained in their training.

The training in this specialization is an academic bachelor’s degree in commercial sciences, in which successful students can join training opportunities in the master’s degree in other disciplines within the framework of the commercial sciences track, such as: finance and international trade, international logistics and transportation, customs techniques and transit.

Efficiency indicators for follow-up training and methods of evaluating students

Follow-up of educational units is compulsory and students' evaluation is as follows:
A final exam at the end of each semester.
Continuous monitoring of the knowledge acquired by students (written and oral questions, presentations, personal works, field research))
Study end note.
The duration of the final exam is an hour and a half, and it is evaluated on the basis of twenty points.
The final course grade is calculated as follows: Course rate = final exam (2/3) + continuous supervision rate (1/3))
There is a catch-up course for students who did not succeed in the regular course
