Contribute to finding solutions to many scientific problems that the Algerian society in its various institutions can benefit from.

- Contribute to providing models and plans for how to deal with the requirements of society and social life.

- Deepening the theoretical knowledge of doctoral students and linking it to societal needs.

- Opening new majors at the level of the University of Jijel in sociology, allowing students to go to them in the future.

- The benefit of various community institutions from frameworks and competencies that have experience and skill in sociological intervention.

Areas of employment expected for the holder of a degree in Sociology:

-The proposed specialization targets students of social sciences who have obtained basic training in the common core of social sciences.

-The specialization aims to train specialists who possess the cognitive capabilities in diagnosing social problems and social intervention at the level of all institutions and organizations in various fields.

- -Graduates of this specialization can be integrated into research centers that are assigned official tasks in all aspects of life within society (examination of opinions).

-As for the fields that can receive graduates from this training, they can be included, for example, but not limited to.

- -Educational institutions within the framework of counseling, guidance and accompaniment.

-The role of youth, cultural institutions and scientific clubs..
