Knowledge and competences that characterize the profile: - In-depth knowledge of the chemical production processes of: acids, bases and salts; fuel processing; silicate materials; plastic materials; building materials and ecological building materials, renewable energies, modeling and simulation of chemical industrial processes, etc. -Knowledge of the main processes of the food industry as well as further knowledge in the field of informatics and the use of the Internet, as well as the further development of training in the field of the use of instrumental methods of chemical analysis. -In-depth knowledge on the concepts of classical thermodynamics, phase equilibria, adsorption phenomena, additions to the basic concepts of kinetics and the study of surface phenomena. -Knowledge on the assessment of industrial and urban waste; treatment of industrial waste water and of hot plants; assessment of the state of the environment - Candidates will be able to easily use the scientific literature of the field in English, as well as write and communicate in this language; -At the end of the studies, the candidates will be able to carry out independent research work in the direction of the assessment of natural raw materials, waste management, new production techniques, monitoring and environmental assessment from industrial pollution, economic evaluations.
