Doctoral studies are built on individual programs for independent training of candidates in scientific research, in the areas determined by the basic units or the main unit. The basic units announce the main areas according to their objectives, or shared areas with priority for the deepening of scientific research. It is realized in 3 academic years for full-time academic staff and in 5 academic years for part-time academic staff.
"1. The doctoral study programs are included in the third cycle of university studies, at the end of which the diploma for the scientific degree "Doctor" is issued. 2. The doctoral program aims to promote scientific research, being oriented towards deepening, reconceptualizing and reintegration of scientific knowledge, to bring innovation to scientific thought. 3. Doctoral studies are based on scientific research and independent creative activity, as a basis for the preparation of the doctoral thesis, necessary for obtaining the degree of "Doctor" and are related to research projects of basic units or main units.4.
