The academic offer of the second cycle "Master of Science" studies in "Sociology of Social Developments" is designed to train young researchers equipped with:
- advanced knowledge in sociological theories and concepts, and research methods;
- the skills to understand the major social changes not only in Albania, but also in the region, as well as at the global level;
- the skills to apply advanced sociological knowledge in the analysis of social problems;
- the skills to develop successful careers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors;
- a solid academic background, to continue with third cycle studies.
In the dynamics of contemporary developments, the Department of Sociology is committed to seeing the second cycle study program in a perspective of advanced theoretical sociological analyzes of current developments, continuously improving and enriching the study offer in this program

"1. Every academic year, the Department announces the admission criteria for the study program. 1.1. Foreign language Level B1, certified with tests recognized by MASR 1.2. To have completed the university studies of the first Cycle in the fields of study in Sociology, Philosophy-Sociology, Pedagogy-Psychology, Anthropology-Sociology, Political Sciences, Social Work, at home and abroad. 2. Candidates who have achieved high results in university studies in the fields of study in Sociology, Philosophy-Sociology, Pedagogy-Psychology, Anthropology-Sociology, Political Sciences, Social Work, domestically and abroad are preferred. 3. The admission of candidates is done by competition where the average grade is important and the ranking is made from students with the highest average grade to those with the lowest average grade. 4. If any candidate withdraws from the application before the start of the course, his place is taken by the candidate ranked after him in the list of winners. 5. The final list is announced
