The Master of Science in History study program aims to: - Equip graduates with in-depth knowledge of history, as well as interweave their academic theoretical and methodological training with practice and field expertise and develop the ability for group work; - Develop the ability to recognize and analyze historical facts and the relevant context, to understand the process by which historians evaluate historical sources as well as the ability to present coherent and convincing arguments orally and in writing; - Enable graduates in the process of historical interpretation through the analysis of documents and in applying their analytical skills to complex historical issues and debates as well as to compare and synthesize different historical interpretations; - Equip graduates with specific scientific and methodological knowledge, necessary for training graduates to carry out independent research work, as well as in the presentation and publication of their achievements. The study program Master of Science in History aims to: - Provide the graduates with substantial in-depth knowledge in history combined with theoretical and methodological academic training with area expertise, and developing skills for team work; - Develop the ability to recognize and analyze relevant historical facts and context, to understand the process by which historians evaluate historical sources and the ability to present coherent and persuasive arguments in oral and written form; - Train graduates in the process of historical interpretation through document analysis and enables them to apply their analytical skills in complex historical issues and debates as well as to compare and synthesize various historical interpretations; - Provide the graduates with scientifically and methodologically specific knowledge necessary for enabling them in conducting independent research work, as well as presenting and publishing their achievements.

The admission in the second cycle of studies Master of Science is possible for the candidates who have finished a first cycle study program and meet the admission criteria defined by the university (UT) they apply for admission.
