Objectives of the study program: To develop the appropriate communication skills to be professionals in the field of information security To formulate and implement policies and solutions that demonstrate a broad acquisition of security fundamentals and practical applications of information technology To demonstrate solid knowledge in about information security strategies and apply this knowledge to assess a given information security situation and design an appropriate plan regarding it. Build an information security approach that balances the organization's needs with its requirements for confidentiality, integrity and availability. Identify information security issues, apply knowledge gained in theory, investigate causes and solutions, and design strategies guided by emerging theories and research in the field of information security. Analyze and design information security techniques and safeguards, including specific system policies, security countermeasures and network access control. Apply standardized methods to minimize risk through the implementation of information security principles and practices. Evaluate the appropriate security solutions needed to design and build a security architecture including attack detection, defense infrastructure, penetration tests and vulnerability analysis. To develop the practical experience needed to plan, carry out and conduct the security audit of information systems according to the level required by the standard security framework.
