The 'Professional Master in Archival' program, which equips graduates with in-depth, professional knowledge, is offered following the first cycle of studies. The study program 'Professional Master in Archives' that equips the graduates with in-depth professional knowledge in a specific field/profile is offered following first cycle studies. The study program 'Professional Master in Archival Studies' aims to: - Prepare specialists for a career related to document management such as: archivists, records/archival data managers, digital curators, etc., focusing on the life cycle management of archival information and in the combination between registration and management of storage of archival information; - Acquaints students with different theories and methodologies that inform them about archiving and documentation processes, such as identification, organization and preservation of archival materials and how to make these archival materials accessible and accessible to users; - Be able to preserve and maintain historical documents and a professional interaction with records, documents, art, books and other objects of current or historical value/importance; - Acquire knowledge about the storage and digitization of archival data and develop these professional skills in this field; - Acquire and develop analytical skills and expertise to assess the origin and importance of archival materials/data, create cataloging systems and data management, use technological tools and electronic databases for their maintenance and access, as in public and non-public institutions. The study program 'Professional Master in Archival studies' aims to: - Prepare specialists for a career managing documents as archivists, records managers, digital curators etc., focusing on the lifecycle management of archival information and the intersection between records and information management; - Introduce students to various theories and methodologies that inform them on the archiving and documenting processes, such as the identification, organization, and preservation of archival materials and how to make these archival materials accessible to users; - Enable to preserve and maintain historical documents and interact professionally with current or historical records, documents, art, books and other objects; - Acquire knowledge of record keeping and digitization and develop these skills and abilities within the field; - Acquire and develop analytical skills and expertise to assess the origin and significance of materials, creating cataloging systems and data management, the use of technological tools and electronic databases to maintain and access records, both in public and non-public institutions.
