Professional Master in “Psychological Counseling” is a one-year study program of second cycle which provides 60 ECTS. The program aims at deepening students’ knowledge in psychological dynamics of individuals, groups and families. It also aims at supporting students develop technical skills to practice counselling in different contexts and groups of interests. The program includes subjects of a theoretical nature, practice-focused subjects, as well as subjects which provide a broader educational contexts such as psychological treatment of deceases, internship, etc.
Upon successful completion of the program, the students will be able to work in primary and secondary education institutions as counselling psychologists; Institutions of primary, secondary or tertiary health care; University career offices; Public institutions which provide information and/or counselling in regard to career, and psychological wellbeing; Employment agencies; Community mental health centers; Organizations or clinics which provide psychological care services, and other services which provide any type of psychological counseling
