The Master of Science option is primarily a program in applied mathematics. It provides an alternative to the traditional MS degree in mathematics. The program is designed to serve those interested in the application of mathematics in industry, business, and government. Student should have 4 yr Bachelor's degree or the equivalent. Other English language Requirements: TOEFL paper-based exam: 525; Successful completion of CSU's IELP (Intensive English Language Program) Advanced Level, with a grade of 80% or better and passing COMPASS ESL scores. Completion of English language studies (Level 112) from any of the ELS Language Centers. Achieve a score of C (Pass) or better on the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE).
