Major-Field Requirements: The requirements for a major in Finance are as follows: complete 9 credit hours of Finance core courses (FIN 353 Introduction to Investments, FIN 360 Financial Markets and Institutions and FIN 362 Introduction to Corporate Finance) beyond FIN 351, 21 credits of finance elective courses and one 3-credit course from a department approved list of courses. Applicants must have Cumulative secondary school GPA equivalent to a 2.3 on the US grading scale for most programs.  Other English language Requirements: TOEFL paper-based exam: 525; Successful completion of CSU's IELP (Intensive English Language Program) Advanced Level, with a grade of 80% or better and passing COMPASS ESL scores. Completion of English language studies (Level 112) from any of the ELS Language Centers. Achieve a score of C (Pass) or better on the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE).
