The biology major provides a solid foundation in fundamental areas of biology while permitting sufficient choice in course selection that majors may explore and develop areas of interest within the field. Applicants must have Cumulative secondary school GPA equivalent to a 2.3 on the US grading scale for most programs. Other English language Requirements: TOEFL paper-based exam: 525; Successful completion of CSU's IELP (Intensive English Language Program) Advanced Level, with a grade of 80% or better and passing COMPASS ESL scores. Completion of English language studies (Level 112) from any of the ELS Language Centers. Achieve a score of C (Pass) or better on the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE).
