KTO Karatay University Department of Business Administration was established in 2010 with the establishment of the university. The Department of Business Administration is a four-year undergraduate programme based on the theory and practice of business administration. Business Administration undergraduate programme is in the form of formal education. The minimum duration of the programme is four years (eight semesters) and each academic term lasts 14 weeks. The language of instruction of the Business Administration undergraduate programme is Turkish. Students are placed in the department according to the equal weight scores of the central placement exam. Students are also admitted to the department through vertical and horizontal transfer exams every year. The curriculum of the Business Administration undergraduate programme is compatible with the Bologna process. The programme consists of 240 ECTS in total. Business Administration students can double major with other departments in the faculty within the framework of the relevant regulations. The department is included in the ERASMUS exchange programme, which both students and academics can benefit from, and has agreements with many universities from Europe.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a recognized high school diploma with a minimum passing grade as specified per country (generally 55–60%). Required documents for pre-registration: high school diploma or proof of final year enrollment (with English or Turkish translation), official high school transcript (stamped and signed, with official translation), document confirming that high school education is formal (not online/distance), national or international exam result document if applicable (valid for 2 years), criminal record (officially certified), bank receipt for scholarship exam fee (500 TRY), and application pre-registration deposit fee (500 USD, non-refundable). Required documents for final registration: original high school diploma (notarized, in English or Turkish), equivalence certificate from the Turkish Ministry of National Education, criminal record (notarized), official transcript (notarized), passport photo page copy, 2 biometric photos, tuition fee payment receipt
