The Department of Psychology at KTO Karatay University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences began offering undergraduate education in the 2015–2016 academic year and holds the distinction of being the first Department of Psychology established in Konya. Since its foundation, the department has aimed to provide an education that encompasses the fundamental theories and applied fields of psychology through an interdisciplinary approach.

With its academic staff specialized in their respective fields, the department aims to equip students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills. Thanks to its modern infrastructure, including a psychology laboratory, individual counseling rooms, and test materials, students actively participate in applied training processes and have opportunities to take part in national and international projects and to develop their academic interests.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a recognized high school diploma with a minimum passing grade as specified per country (generally 55–60%). Required documents for pre-registration: high school diploma or proof of final year enrollment (with English or Turkish translation), official high school transcript (stamped and signed, with official translation), document confirming that high school education is formal (not online/distance), national or international exam result document if applicable (valid for 2 years), criminal record (officially certified), bank receipt for scholarship exam fee (500 TRY), and application pre-registration deposit fee (500 USD, non-refundable). Required documents for final registration: original high school diploma (notarized, in English or Turkish), equivalence certificate from the Turkish Ministry of National Education, criminal record (notarized), official transcript (notarized), passport photo page copy, 2 biometric photos, tuition fee payment receipt.
