Our Nursing Department trains nurses who work to protect and promote the health of individuals, families and communities, and who are able to provide healthcare services by identifying individuals’ needs.
Students at KTO Karatay University receive training in the Nursing Laboratory using medical supplies for basic human care procedures, manikins that allow for the practice of invasive procedures, and patient beds and equipment arranged to closely resemble a hospital environment. Furthermore, our laboratories provide an environment where students can practise nursing procedures specific to the body’s systems, such as hygiene care, oral and parenteral medication administration, and nutrition and excretory system care.
Students in the Department of Nursing also benefit from extensive practical training and placement opportunities at hospitals with which our University has affiliation agreements.
