The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at KTO Karatay University was established in 2015 within the School of Health Sciences and offers a four-year undergraduate education aimed at training qualified physiotherapists for the national health system. The language of instruction of the program is Turkish, and the curriculum is structured in line with universal scientific principles, ethical values, and a lifelong learning approach. Our curriculum is regularly updated in accordance with higher education quality assurance principles and professional qualification frameworks, and is based on core professional competencies such as clinical skills, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Our graduates complete the program with the title of “physiotherapist” and are awarded a diploma approved by the Ministry of Health; they may work in public and private healthcare institutions and pursue academic careers through postgraduate education.
