In an increasingly complex and data-saturated world, the risks facing nations and communities are multidimensional, evolving and interconnected. Traditional great power rivalries have re-emerged as China and Russia contest the existing world order, while non-traditional risks such as climate change-induced disasters, cyberattacks, biosecurity threats, and foreign interference add further layers of complexity. In this environment, the need for intelligence-based decision-makers to innovatively and holistically strategise and guide governments, business and non-government organisations has never been greater.

The Master of Strategy and Security will equip you with the capabilities to address the most pressing security challenges confronting your nation or organisation. Bringing together world-class academics with leading government and industry professionals, the interdisciplinary degree offers an exciting and dynamic learning environment. Furthermore, with its blend of high-level conceptual thinking and practical, industry-driven problem solving – and three globally relevant specialisations – it provides flexibility to shape your studies around your career goals and a strong entry point into the security industry.
