Programme overview

Degree

MBA

Study Level

Undergraduate

In the chemistry component of this specialisation, you’ll learn about synthesis, analysis, reactions and properties of molecules. You’ll investigate modern chemical principles and practice, including the identification of substances and chemistry’s application to environmental and biological samples. In the earth and environmental sciences component, you’ll learn about key aspects of the environment where erosion, sediment transport and deposition play a role. This includes landscape processes, ecological function, environmental health, and the distribution and remediation of environmental contaminants. You’ll investigate the structure of the earth; its tectonics; how these formed in deep time; and how the geosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere systems interact. As well as gaining in-depth science knowledge, you’ll acquire skills in the latest technologies and communication methods used in modern science teaching. You’ll be equipped to teach the most up-to-date, forward-looking science to future generations.
