The  Master in Journalism and Communication Management  is aimed at strengthening journalistic or corporate communication processes with an emphasis on digital spaces, in order to improve professional performance and respond to the needs of society at the present time.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 

  • Mastering the theoretical and practical approaches, as well as the techniques and languages ​​of journalism and social communication in various media, including digital ones, in order to introduce innovative practices aimed at a professional practice based on research, rigor, ethics and social responsibility.
  • Apply research methodologies and techniques to efficiently carry out research work, teaching, as well as the analysis, planning and direction of communicational processes in different public or private spaces aimed at enhancing the participation of various actors and thereby democratization of the comunication.
  • Deepening the processes of intercultural communication, in order to promote integration and mutual knowledge, and professional and human enrichment.

The master's degree is aimed at graduates of Social Sciences, Journalism, Information, Law, Business Education and Administration.

Copy of the third level degree, registration of the degree in SENESCYT.

  • Copy of the citizenship card and voting certificate.
  • Admission application form, supplied by the Directorate of the Master
  • Curriculum vitae, presenting studies carried out and professional experience.
  • Establish through an essay the subject of interest of the applicant, articulated with the research lines of the program.  (Maximum: 3 pages, Arial 12, line spacing 1.5).
  • Interview with the Academic Committee of the Master's Program on the date and time indicated in the call.
  • Present a certificate of proficiency in English or, failing that, take and pass a Foreign Language Proficiency Exam.
  • Two passport-size photographs.
