Guayaquil is a tropical port on the Equatorial
Pacific coast. Thanks to its latitude there
are only two warm weather seasons making it possible to enjoy outdoor
activities and visiting the nearby beaches all year long. On short trips you can also make environment
and cultural changes to experience towns and cities in the Andes Mountains.
Ecuador is one of the countries with the
highest level of biodiversity on the planet having 6.4% of the world's flora,
1,656 species of birds, 557 amphibians, 450 reptiles, 403 mammals... In
addition, 91 different types of ecosystems have been identified, being a
paradise with great ecological value.

broadcasting but also cable and streaming, which is also a place for students

of competent training, which includes research and community engagement.
There are 3,21% international students in our campus, their favorite activities are attending sporting
events, sharing tours to the beaches and Andean cities, and participating in community
activities organized by our Pastoral Center.
We offer them a comprehensive intercultural
experience by providing host families who receive international students in
their homes, giving them the opportunity to live an intercultural
experience by sharing their traditions, typical food and communicating in
Spanish language.

students. These subjects are: Language and Thinking 1 and 2 which are
considered basic for all career programs. They provide students with
competences such as: optimal management of academic discourse, relevant reading
comprehension, and most of all critical thinking which is the foundation of
every student training process.

two levels of Integral Humanism which is essential for the respect to
fundamental values such as solidarity, tolerance and integration to the
person’s dignity.
·Finally,
Contemporary Cultures, Computing Science are also compulsory for all the
careers.

knowledge they belong to, articulating the curriculum with subjects related to
