The objective of the Dentistry course is to train Dentists with theoretical-methodological capacities based on updated scientific and technological results, with basic and applied skills and knowledge to prevent and comprehensively treat pathologies of the oral cavity focused on a care model oriented to community, as well as with scientific training whose field of action is in the domain of the basic principles of research to address the main problems that afflict the community.

With the antecedent of the Organic Law of Higher Education (LOES), as of 2012, every high school student to enter the Dentistry Career has 2 entry options: pass the Entrance Exam or pass the Admission Course, comply with the legal or regulatory requirements in force and commit to the faithful fulfillment of the essential objectives of the University and the Dentistry Career.
For admission, the student must deliver the following documentation to the corresponding secretary:
Copy of Certificate of degree endorsed and notarized.
Certificate of conduct from the college of origin.
Color copy of identity card.
Psychological test (carried out at the Faculty of Philosophy)
Three passport-size photos.
Copy of basic services (water, electricity or telephone)
Fill out the personal data sheet (provided by the secretariat or on the website) Registration Form - Dentistry 2013.
