  • Evaluates the health conditions and classifies the pathological processes of the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
  • Scientifically and technically bases and integrates the diagnosis and endodontic treatment alternatives with adherence to the standards that govern professional practice.
  • Establishes, based on solid knowledge, the differential diagnosis of pulpal pathological processes and adjacent tissues.
  • Plan and carry out the appropriate procedures for each endodontic case applying the most advanced techniques of instrumentation and obturation of canals.
  • Acquire skill and prepare treatments with microscopic magnification
  • Plans and performs scientifically endorsed innovative procedures to carry out endodontic treatments.
  • Plan and execute non-surgical re-intervention in root canal treatments
  • Plan and execute treatments that require endodontic microsurgery.
  • Manages and successfully resolves endodontic pathological processes in dental organs with open apices and traumatized teeth.
  • Attends to and resolves endodontic emergencies.
  • Applies digital technology for the recognition of dental anatomy and the management of pulp alterations and periapical tissues.
  • Practice evidence-based dentistry (EBP)
  • Incorporates and applies biosafety standards in the professional practice of the specialty of endodontics.

  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary research teams in the area of ​​their competence for the purpose of solving problems in the area of ​​oral health.

REQUIREMENTS AND INCOME PROFILE

  • Applicant's Curriculum Vitae
  • Color copy of the Identity Card
  • 2 Color passport-size photos with a white background
  • Be a dentist with a registered SNIESE title.
  • Be authorized for professional practice by CEAACES.  Have complied with the MSP's rural health program.
  • Have your dental degree registered with the MSP.
  • Have B1 level of English
  • Certificate of University Degree Notes
  • Letter of explanation of reasons for taking the specialization course addressed to the Director
  • 2 Letters of recommendation from professionals or academics that endorse their ability and interest
  • Qualification certificate obtained in the Professional Habilitation Exam, issued by CEAACES,  only for graduates as of 2014  .
  • For international applicants, they must have complied with the requirements established in the current regulations for the recognition, homologation and validation of degrees issued abroad and their degrees must be registered with the SNIESE and the MSP.
