The Tourism programme of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil works to train professionals with a responsible vision of tourism and a positive attitude towards the challenges facing the activity. It seeks to sow in new professionals the will to lead changes for the improvement of the country and the region.
It also generates research on new trends in tourism, market behavior and statistics. These projects are worked with the perspective of linking the academy with the public and private sectors for the articulated development and sustainability of tourism activity.

Entry requirements established by Art 82 of the LOES:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, in accordance with the Law; Y,
- In the case of public higher education institutions, having fulfilled the requirements regulated by the Leveling and Admission System, which will observe the principles of equal opportunities, merit and ability.
The institutions of the Higher Education System will accept baccalaureate degrees obtained abroad, recognized or equated by the Ministry of Education.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
