On November 30, 1992, during the Deanship of Ing. Mauro Toscanini Segale, the University Council approved the creation of the International Business Management specialization, endorsed by the University of Toulouse in France, born as a response to the need to find personnel prepared with knowledge of Economy, Foreign Trade, Administration and Languages (English-French), manifested by different companies consulted. This knowledge will facilitate the development of the functions of the Administrator in a globalized environment, where international forces affect even the companies that operate in a country, therefore, it is necessary to have people who master techniques of commercial exchange between countries.
As of 2017, when all our careers have been redesigned, by legal provisions, our career changed its name to International Business, maintaining its international career profile with a high academic level.
