The Master's Degree in Screenwriting and TV Series at the Rey Juan Carlos University is an official postgraduate course with professional and creative orientation, aimed at training future screenwriters and story producers in the Spanish and international audiovisual fiction market.
It has an expert faculty in dramatic writing and fiction production for film and television. They are all leading industry professionals and renowned academics who will work with students to develop their skills as story writers, analysts and producers.
The academic program of the Master is divided into two semesters: TV and Cinema. The practical sessions and workshops of each block are aimed at two specific objectives: the proposal and development of a fiction television series and a feature film script, through the mechanics of work groups.
Each student will carry out professional internships in production companies and audiovisual companies as part of the training itinerary. In addition to the specific agreements of the Master itself, the Rey Juan Carlos University has internship agreements with more than 60 entities in the film and television sector.

Students who have possession of an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area that empowers in the country issuing the degree for access to Master's degrees. The Master in Cinematographic Script and Television Series is aimed especially at graduates in Fine Arts, Audiovisual Communication, Film and TV, Integral Design and Image Management, and other degrees related to narration and audiovisual and literary creation. An average knowledge of English such as reading comprehension, cultural concern and interest in the arts are among the recommended abilities of the entry profile.
