During your academic training period, you will acquire the fundamental theoretical knowledge, as well as the practical skills and abilities necessary for professional practice in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence will provide you with the appropriate preparation whether you want to develop your career in the business sector or if your goal is to become a researcher in this fascinating area of knowledge.
AI is a branch of Computer Science with connections to other fields of knowledge, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Ethics, and Legislation, to name a few. For this reason, in the early courses, you will acquire essential knowledge and skills upon which you will build further expertise. Specifically, in the first courses, you will learn the fundamentals of computer programming, the mathematical foundations of AI, the history of AI, the ethical and legal aspects of our discipline, computer architecture, operating systems, and databases.
In the following courses, you will expand your knowledge of computer programming, learn to develop algorithms and machine learning methods, design intelligent agents, model expert knowledge, develop ambient intelligence systems and autonomous systems, and create programs that interpret what they read (natural language processing) or what they see (computer vision), among many other topics.
In the final year, you will choose which areas to specialize in by selecting elective subjects. Additionally, you will put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout your academic training in a Bachelor's thesis and have the opportunity to prove your capabilities in a first approach to the professional environment through External Internships.
