As a graduate in Translation and Interpreting you will have acquired the following knowledge: master the techniques and strategies of translation and interpretation; master language A (Spanish), language B (English) and language C (German / Arabic) (in all types of speeches and written and oral records) and their respective cultures to translate and interpret (consecutively and simultaneously); be able to effectively apply liaison interpreting and note-taking techniques and perform sight translation tasks; master the computer tools applied to translation / interpretation and localization and will be able to perform computer-assisted translations; master the documentation techniques applied to translation, as well as the terminology and lexicography necessary to carry out specialized translations; know the translation and interpreting job market and I will have acquired the professional skills necessary to practice my profession both independently and as a salaried worker, following quality standards; be able to design and organize translation and interpretation projects and to work in interdisciplinary teams, in national and international contexts; know how to adopt an ethical commitment in the exercise of the profession, and to develop critical reasoning, recognizing the value of diversity and interculturality for translation and interpretation; AND know how to apply the techniques of editing, layout and textual revision.
