Learn

The Mechanical Engineering Technology program is designed to provide learning opportunities in four major areas:

  • Solid Mechanics
  • Dynamics
  • Thermal and Fluid Sciences
  • Mechanical Design

Opportunities

Helping you achieve your goals is important to us! Our hands-on learning approach will give you the required knowledge and skills to help solve tomorrow’s engineering problems. While pursuing the B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology degree, you will have several experiential learning opportunities through co-ops, internships, the capstone design experience, and a variety of student organizations (i.e. IEEE, NSBE, and SAE Mini Baja).

The responsibilities of graduates from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program span multiple industries and the career paths are diverse: Aerospace, Automotive, Bio-Technology, Chemical, Computers, Construction, Consumer Products, Energy, Electronics, Engineering, Consulting, Entertainment, Government, Nano-Technology, Robotics.
